Este colectivo conformado por Carolina Pinzón y Adrian Villa, realizaron una llamativa instalación titulada el fin del mundo mirando al techo con cajas de cartón corrugado en el pabellón artecámara.
La entrada es sugestiva: un muro a manera de mosaico tridimensional lo invita a adentrarse en un hipogéo que se deconstruye con miles de fragmentos volumétricos, luego un pasadizo que lleva a otra cámara interior donde ya desaparecen los volúmenes y se resalta la superficie cóncava del interior que se ilumina por un boquete en el techo.

This collective conformed by Carolina Pinzón and Adrian Villa, made a installation titled the end of the world watching at the ceiling with corrugated cardboard boxes in the pavilion artecámara.
The entrance is suggestive: a wall to way of three-dimensional mosaic invites it to enter in hipogéo that deconstruct with thousands of volumetirc fragments, soon a passage that takes to another inner camera where already disappear the volumes and the concave surface of the interior is emphasized that is illuminated by an opening in the ceiling.

La metáfora de lo fugaz que sugiere una cinta de cassete conectada a un ventilador constituye una de las propuestas de Icaro Zorbar.
La música, el reciclaje tecnológico y la poesía visual son algunas de las cualidades desarrolladas por Icaro en sus trabajos los cuales con gran disciplina registra en su canal.
Tuve la oportunidad de conversar un rato con él durante la pasada feria ArtBo en donde participaba en el pabellón artecámara, creo que es un artista al que hay que segirle la pista.

The metaphor of the fleeting thing that suggests a tape of cassete connected to a fan constitutes one of the proposals of Icaro Zorbar.
Music, the technological recycling and the visual poetry are some of the qualities developed by Icaro in their works which with great discipline registers in his channel.
I had the opportunity to awhile talk with him at the last ArtBo fair in where participated in the artecámara pavilion, I believe that he is an artist to must be followed.

La fotografía de Isabel Tallos remite inmediatamente a la crisis contemporánea, estamos encerrados, limitados, vivimos en espacios minúsculos, apretujados y solos.
Estas mujeres tomadas en diversas actitudes dentro de un cubo fotográfico acrecientan el drama de cada individuo; la soledad es un refugio pero también un marginamiento, deseamos que respeten nuestro espacio pero nos vemos cada vez mas limitados por los muros que nosotros mismos construimos para proteger nuestra intimidad.

The Isabel Tallos photography send us immediately to the contemporary crisis , we are locked up, limited, lived in very small, jammed and single spaces.
These women taken in diverse attitudes within a photographic bucket increase the individual drama of each one; the solitude is a refuge but also a margination we wished that they respect our space but we see ourselves more and more limited by the walls that we ourself we constructed to protect our privacy.

Se abrió ayer la cuarta versión de la Feria de Arte de Bogotá, un evento que se ha consolidado como el punto de encuentro de artistas, galerías, instituciones culturales y publicaciones a nivel hispanoamericano.
47 galerías, 200 artistas, 1000 obras, son las cifras de base para este evento.
Es de destacar el apoyo a las nuevas propuestas en el pabellón Arte Cámara al cual se presentaron 180 trabajos de los cuales fueron escogidos 30; también los niños encontrarán un espacio donde podrán interactuar con lo mas representativo del arte latinoamericano. Ven a la feria!

The fourth version of the Art Fair of Bogota was opened yesterday, an event that has consolidated as the cultural point of contact of artists, galleries, institutions and publications at Hispano-American level.
47 galleries, 200 artists, 1000 works, are the numbers of base for this event.
It is to emphasize the support to the new proposals in the pavilion Art Camera to which 180 works appeared of which 30 were chosen; also the children will find a space where they will be able to interact with but the representative thing of the Latin American art. See you in the fair!

Con frecuencia pensamos que la pobreza es la ausencia de riqueza por simple contraste; pero es asombroso lo que se descubre al preguntar ¿qué es para usted pobreza?
Una de las respuestas fué: pobreza es no tener descanso.
Si analizamos con detenimiento vemos que no se nombra para nada el dinero, pero si una necesidad fundamental del ser humano, poder reposar y recuperar fuerzas; para un pobre no hay domingos, ni festivos, no hay horarios, no hay vacaciones...debe trabajar todo el tiempo, es asunto de supervivencia.
Los casos mas vergonzosos de explotación son aquellos donde la persona no dispone de un descanso, horarios extenuantes, jornadas continuas, trabajo nocturno.
Un reto para superar la pobreza debe ser el derecho al descanso.

Frequently we thinked that the poverty is the absence of wealth by simple resistance; but he is amazing what it is discovered when asking what is poverty for you ?
One of the answers was: poverty is not to have rest.
If we analyzed with thoroughness we see that the money does not name for anything, but a fundamental necessity of the human being, to be able to rest and to replenish forces; for a poor man there are Sundays, nor no festive, are no schedules, there are no vacations; it must work all along, it is survival subject.
The shameful cases but of operation are those where the person does not have a rest, debilitating schedules, continuous days, nocturnal work.
A challenge to surpass the poverty must be the right to rest.

Los maestros Holandeses crearon un visión singular con sus interiores y la forma de representar los retratos; muy conectado con esta tradición se desarrolla la obra del fotógrafo Hendrik Kerstens, quien se dedica por completo a la fotografía desde 1995 y ha tomado como modelo a su hija Paula.

Desde que realicé un viaje de 18 días en buque para atravesar el atlántico, el agua tomó un gran sentido para mi trabajo; me encanta el reflejo, la transparencia, el movimiento, la deformación y la pérdida de gravedad que produce este vital líquido.

Hay instalaciones con muy buen concepto y las hay bastante flojas, especialmente cuando son reiterativas. El portafolio de Jean Shin, una coreana que ha tomado gran fuerza, propone una buena cantidad de instalaciones con diversos materiales como discos de vinilo, billetes de loteria, ropa militar, teclas, botellas de vidrio, cabello, sombrillas, recortes de tela y muchos mas.
Su método de trabajo es solicitar donaciones de una comunidad específica donde pretende realizar la instalación con el fin de lograr una indentidad personal y grupal; los objetos son de producción industrial pero son transformados por una intensa labor manual.

There are installations with very good concept and there are them quite loose, specially when they are reiteratives. Jean Shin portafolio, a Korean who has taken great force, proposes a good amount of installations with diverse materials like vinyl discs, tickets of lottery, military clothes, keys, bottles of glass, hair, umbrellas, cuts of fabric and many others.
Her method of work is to ask for donations of a specific community where she tries to make the installation with the purpose of obtaining a personal and group indentity; the objects are of industrial production but they are transformed by an intense handmade labor.
